Angostura’s portfolio of Pure Trinidadian rum was recognised at the Spirits Master Series, one of the world’s most respected and high profile blind tasting competitions in the industry. The judging panel was chaired by Dominic Roskrow, Editor of Spirits Business, along with an independent panel of industry experts and trade professionals. Each entry is judged on its own merit and individually scored. The judging criteria is also based on consumer feedback which is collated and presented by experts in the trade who take part in the scoring.
The highest accolade of Rum Grand Master was given to the brand along with the following awards across the range:
White Rum Category
Gold up to 7 years Category
- Angostura Caribbean Rum 7 yr – Master
- Angostura Caribbean Rum 5 yr – Gold
Premium Rum Category
- Angostura 1824 – Master
- Angostura 1919 – Gold
