The lack of actual information about Kraken Rum makes we speculate about its quality. nice website though.

I’ve tried it! pretty tasty spiced rum. different. probably will be great in a cocktail. A+ on the presentation.

It’s damn great. Just tried it against Kilo Kai and Sailor Jerry’s. It’s bolder than Kilo rum, much spicier, less sweet, stronger but not to the point where you don’t want to drink it neat. Haven’t tried it with ice yet or mixing, but I can tell due to the bold flavor this is going to make some great mixed cocktails. I can’t tell which I like better yet, which is a good thing, because Kilo IMO is an absolutely outstanding spiced rum. Sailor Jerry tastes like watered down spiced rum with chemical after taste compared to Kraken and Kilo. Seven Tiki tastes even more watered down and Admiral Nelson, well that’s what you give to friends at parties.

Incredible rum, brilliant packaging. Great products don’t always have to wax poetic about their product.
