“The discovery by archeologists of an old rum distillery in Albany is getting some new attention. The area’s first distilling company since prohibition is paying tribute to that history with the launch of a new rum.”  WNYT has the story.

Bacardi continues their push to go green by cutting the water used during rum production by nearly 50%.  Get the details at Bloomberg News.

The Drum reports ad agency changes for Appleton Estate Rum.  They have revealed a number of changes to its agency roster across the board in the UK with the appointments of Cutlass Communications, Silver Chair Digital and Flourish following a four way joint pitch.
