Rum, rum, RUM, rum and more rum.  The first week of August was an exciting one in our boozy community.  Here’s all the news.


Brugal and their mobile Rum Shack hit the UK summer festival scene to promote their brand.  Here are the details.

First Coast News reports that a group of thirsty thieves made off with nearly 1000 cases of rum and other alcoholic beverages in Jacksonville, FL.

A group from Trip Updater take a tour of Rivers Rum Distillery and learn about the history of rum in Grenada.

Bundaberg has rolled out a campaign for its new white rum, called ‘Bundaberg Five’, with a 90-second television ad produced by Leo Burnett Sydney.  Check it out.

From Harpers: Mount Gay Rum is continuing its long-standing association with sailing by running a series of event and sampling activities at Cowes Week.
