Rum is the main ingredient in five of the 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails put together by the Chicago Tribune.  Nice job!

The Barbados Advocate reports that “the local rum market has remained fairly stable over the last ten years, hovering around the sale of 170,000 cases per year.”  Get the full story here. 

The Rum Examiner reports that Appleton Estate has released a new limited edition 20 year old single cask rum.  Signature Marque 20 is only available from Park Avenue Liquors in New York. 

Rum tours in the southern Caribbean may soon be a little easier.  Carib Journal reports that Trinidad, Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia and Barbados could soon be linked by an express ferry.
