After winning tasting competition awards for their spiced and gold rums, Turkey Shore Distillery in Ipswich, MA is the latest success story in the growing small batch spirits industry. Salem News has the details.

From The San Francisco Chronicle: “Nowadays, cocktails are often part of entertaining even at home. From a single glass of Single Malt Sangaree to a Hot Apple Toddy that will bring the evening to a close, winter cocktails are warming and inviting. The Bishop takes more preparation than most but becomes a true spectacle when the 151-proof rum is lit and poured into the punch bowl.”

Following a trip to St. Kitts, our friends at Caribbean Journal whip up a fruity cocktail with Brinley’s Shipwreck, apricot brandy, OJ and pineapple juice.  Enjoy the Overboard.

“One of my favorites is the carefully-aged beaty pictured here, Rum Sixty Six from our friends the Seales at the famed Foursquare Distillery.” Patrick and Steve from Uncommon Caribbean celebrate Barbados Independence Day with a bottle of premium Bajan rum, Rum Sixty Six.
